  Celebrity Look-alikes on JWD

  when i was a jw kid, one of the ways we amused ourselves at assemblies, conventions, and the local kh was to play "spot the celebrity".

  fortunately for us, the joyful throngs of jehovah's people were brimming with celebrity look-alikes, so we were able to enjoy many upbuilding sessions of "spot the celebrity".

  here are some celebrities i have spotted on jwd.

  Why Im ignoring my friends.

  ive basically kept this under wraps in so far as this board is concerned, but ive decided to tell about it because, frankly, im under stress at the moment,am posting (when i post at all) a bit strangely and i wish to explain why im hardly posting, nor am i hardly responding to emails or chat requests from my friends here.

  i apologize for the latter.

  in a nutshell, my wife is sick, shes been sick a year now and the situation is getting worse.

  Frustrated and Lonely in Las Vegas

  after spending sometime in self imposed exile i am back!

  anyway, i have been living in las vegas for about a month and a half.

  Laugh out loud funny!!!

  i saw a video last night and part of it reminded me of childhood stories that had been relayed to me from people who had been raised as jw's, so i thought some here might find it interesting.

  the video is called "the queens of comedy" and the 2nd comic on the show is adelle givens.

  she does a bit in her act about what it was like growing up with a grandmother that was convinced that the world was in it's "last days" and how that affected her as a young girl.

  not that its important, but i just thought id state this formally.

  i never said that living on the streets makes you an adult, however, the experience behind it makes you wise beyond your years. you don't know me. you never will. you are jealous of me because people here actually care about me. i can be fat, have bad hair days, show my true colors and tell people how i really feel and people don't lose respect for me, i still have all the friends i ever did because i am true, i am real. this makes you angry because you CANNOT say the same. you've told too many lies, you are tainted. i'm pure .

  and just to stoop a little lower... i was told many times as a kid i would never be anything... just a highschool dropout junkie (and like you said, "and your life is going nowhere")...only made me work harder..

  i can and will become whatever i want to, pris. you can't hurt me. try as you might.

  learn what it is like to be an adult?? i lived on the fucking streets, don't tell me to learn what it's like to be an adult. i have seen and been thru more in my short life than you could ever imagine. don't tell me to grow up.

  and don't ever bring up my being homeless as part of being immature. you sleep in a park for 4 months in the dead of winter and dare be called a little girl.

  i don't have a decent paying job??? tell me how many 18 year olds you know that make $15 an hour??? i can't support myself??? i pay my rent, the bills and put half of my check away every pay day AND i help my mom with her bills, don't tell me i can't take care of myself. how bout asking all the people here that have lent me money, i have paid them back DOUBLE to show my appreciation. i can't keep relationship?? HILARIOUS. the last boyfriend i had, i dated for 4 months, and we dated on and off before that for a year. the relationship i was in before him, lasted a year as well. PLEASE.

  i'm not perfect. everyone on this bored knows i have stretch marks, a fuzzy face, moles everywhere, flabby arms, burn marks all over my body. THEY know i'm not perfect. i don't deny it, you do.

  you lose prisca. give up. i'm real and everyone here knows it. noone will believe trash about me. so enjoy.
